The Living Genesis Project begins with a different idea.
We believe humanity is more than a population. It is a living system.
Just as billions of cells work together to create a living organism, billions of people contribute to the future of humanity through their actions, ideas, knowledge, relationships, and choices.
No person exists in isolation.
Every decision influences others.
Every act of kindness, responsibility, creativity, learning, or cooperation becomes part of a larger human story.
The future is not predetermined.
It is created every day by ordinary people.
That is why we call this project The Living Genesis.
Genesis is not only the beginning of life.
Genesis is an ongoing process.
Humanity is still evolving.

Our mission is to help people become conscious contributors to that process through knowledge, peace, community, education, meaningful action, and global cooperation.

The Global Week of Action for Peace and Climate Justice is officially organised by the Arms, Militarism and Climate Justice Working Group, whose participating organisations include the International Peace Bureau (IPB), Peace Boat, Stop Wapenhandel, War Resisters’ International, Scientists for Global Responsibility, the Conflict and Environment Observatory, and the Transnational Institute.
FOUNDATION "TRANSFORMATION OF ESSENCE" IS NOW A MEMBER OF THE INTERNATIONAL PEACE BUREAU (IPB)
It is with great joy and a profound sense of responsibility that I share important international news:
The Foundation "Transformation of Essence" has been accepted as a member of the International Peace Bureau (IPB) and is currently the only Bulgarian organization represented in the international IPB network.
Even more significant to me is that the Foundation now has its own official page for Bulgaria on the International Peace Bureau website.
Our admission as a member followed an official meeting with representatives of IPB, during which we had the opportunity to get to know each other, present the activities and initiatives of the Foundation, and discuss concrete opportunities for future cooperation.
After the meeting, our application was reviewed and approved, and today Bulgaria is present in this global network through the Foundation "Transformation of Essence".
WHAT IS THE INTERNATIONAL PEACE BUREAU?
The International Peace Bureau is one of the oldest international organizations dedicated to peace.
Founded in 1891, for more than a century the International Peace Bureau has worked to build a world without wars, for disarmament, non-violent prevention and resolution of conflicts, international cooperation, global justice, and sustainable peace.
In 1910, the International Peace Bureau was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
Today, IPB represents a global network of more than 400 organizations, bringing together peace movements, educational organizations, civic structures, trade unions, environmental organizations, researchers, and activists from around the world.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR BULGARIA?
Membership is not just international recognition. It is an opportunity for real action.
As a Bulgarian member of IPB, the Foundation "Transformation of Essence" will work to promote and implement in Bulgaria the international initiatives, campaigns, and educational activities of the International Peace Bureau.
At the same time, our own initiatives in the fields of "peace education, philosophy, literature and culture, critical thinking, civic engagement, youth and women's leadership, sustainable development, and responsibility towards society" will have the opportunity for development and international partnership within one of the most established global peace networks.
We will seek opportunities to involve schools, teachers, young people, libraries, cultural institutions, civic organizations, and local communities in Bulgaria in initiatives related to peace, education, culture of dialogue, climate justice, and global civic responsibility.
We will promote IPB's international campaigns in Bulgaria and work to create Bulgarian initiatives that will become part of the international network.
OUR PHILOSOPHY MEETS GLOBAL ACTION
This partnership is of particular importance to us because it naturally connects with the philosophy of The Living Genesis Project and with the ideas that the Foundation develops through its educational, social, philosophical, literary, and cultural initiatives.
We believe that peace cannot be solely the result of political decisions, international treaties, or institutions.
Peace begins with the human being.
With our ability to understand the other.
With education.
With critical thinking.
With dialogue instead of conflict.
With personal responsibility.
With the awareness that the decisions of each of us are part of the future of all humanity.
That is why our goal is for global ideas to reach local communities, and for good local practices and ideas to be given an international voice.
FROM BULGARIA TO THE WORLD. FROM THE WORLD TO BULGARIA.
A new stage lies ahead.
We will connect IPB's international initiatives with Bulgarian schools, civic organizations, and local communities.
We will develop our own initiatives and seek international partnerships.
We will use education, philosophy, literature, culture, and civic engagement as tools to build a society in which peace is not just a wish, but a conscious personal and social responsibility.
For us, membership in the International Peace Bureau is not just a place in an international organization.
It is an opportunity for Bulgaria to have a stronger voice in the global conversation about peace.
And a responsibility to bring this global conversation to people here – in our schools, cities, and communities.
Because peace begins with ideas.
But it becomes reality through actions.
Officially Appointed: Member of the International Alliance of Women Delegation to CSW71 in New York
It is with profound gratitude and a strong sense of responsibility that I share that I have been officially appointed as a member of the International Alliance of Women (IAW) delegation to the 71st Session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women – CSW71, which will take place in March 2027 at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
The decision was made by the IAW Executive Committee, which endorsed the recommendation of the CSW71 Task Force and appointed 20 members to the IAW delegation.
This moment is especially meaningful to me because it is the culmination of a three-stage selection and preparation process.
The first stage was the application process to be considered for the delegation.
The second involved participation in the CSW71 Task Force preparatory process, including two international working meetings on July 18 and August 8, as well as the development and presentation of specific positions on the themes of the upcoming session.
The third stage was the recommendation of the CSW71 Task Force and the final decision of the IAW Executive Committee, which formally approved the composition of the delegation.
Among the areas that shaped my contribution were quality education, women as social capital, ethical leadership, public trust, and the resilience of local communities.
One of the ideas I would like to continue developing is the creation of Community Women’s Leadership Hubs — local spaces and networks that connect education, mentoring, civic participation, leadership development, and partnerships among women, institutions, and civil society organizations.
Because I believe that investing in women’s education, leadership, and participation in public life is an investment in the social capital of the entire community.
There is much work ahead. The next steps include registration for CSW71, the delegation’s preparation over the coming months, and our briefing meeting in February before New York.
I see this not simply as a personal achievement, but as an opportunity and a responsibility to bring the experience of education and local communities into a much broader international dialogue — and to bring the knowledge, perspectives, and lessons gained from that dialogue back to the communities in which we work.
My sincere thanks to the International Alliance of Women, the CSW71 Task Force, and Dr. Sibylle von Heydebrand for their trust and for this opportunity.
From the local community to the global dialogue.
And from the global dialogue back to meaningful change in our local communities.
