In our Science & Consciousness section, we explore another fascinating dimension of education:
Can the brain learn peace?
Human beings are capable of extraordinary cooperation, compassion and creativity—but also conflict, fear and destruction.
Experience matters.
Repeated patterns of dialogue, empathy, emotional regulation, cooperation and critical thinking can help children develop the tools they will later use when confronted with disagreement and complexity.
Peace education is therefore not about creating a world without conflict.
It is about preparing human beings who know how to enter conflict without destroying the dignity of the other person.

IS PEACE NATURAL TO HUMANITY?
